Most inspiring and challenging aha-moments and topics

I kind of enjoyed the digital side and the leadership side of the course- Scratch, makey makey, movie making and learning how to upload and share. 

For the leadership part I was actually surprised to find out that leaders can choose what leadership style they want to use and that as a leader you can change around your styles.


Does a leader need to follow the laws of the books or they can be flexible?.

Can teacher's choose how they want to teach or they have to follow a plan?

Ethical and Legal Issues

 The widespread use of technology in education brings challenge to the teaching profession. Although the use of internet, laptops, tablets and ipads bring many benefits for our students, they also bring challenges and risks for students and schools (Ministry of Education, 2015). The overall objective for schools is to provide safe and responsible use of digital technology. In New Zealand, the Ministry of education has issued a  guide for schools to support schools in the management of safe and responsible use of  digital technology for learning. I had difficulty thinking of a dilemma  that I was ever involved in for the following reasons: At my school when a child enrols, we get the parents to sign a digital technology consent form explaining that their child' s work, pictures or video may be used for publishing , school facebook or to share with others.
